    These terms govern your use of uxbyash.com and the writing, frameworks, tools, and case studies published on it. By using the site you agree to these terms. Specific advisory, fractional, or consulting engagements are governed by a separate written agreement.

    About this site

    uxbyash.com is the professional site of Ashwarya Subhluxmi, an independent design leader operating as UX by Ash. The site presents writing, case studies, frameworks, and information about fractional design leadership, startup advisory, product design consulting, AI product strategy, workshops, speaking, and mentoring services.

    Permitted use

    You may:

    • Read, share, and link to public pages for personal, educational, or editorial purposes.
    • Quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the original page.
    • Contact me about potential engagements, speaking, or press.

    You may not:

    • Copy, republish, mirror, or repackage substantial parts of the site as your own work.
    • Scrape the site or use its content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or ground any machine learning model without prior written permission.
    • Attempt to bypass password-protected case studies, or share unlock passwords with third parties.
    • Use the site or any of its content in a way that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or infringing.

    Intellectual property

    All original content on this site, including written work, case study narratives, frameworks, illustrations, visual design, code, and page layouts, is the intellectual property of Ashwarya Subhluxmi and is protected by copyright and related laws. Third-party trademarks, company names, and logos referenced on the site remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary only.

    Confidential case studies

    Some case studies are password-protected because they discuss work performed under NDA. Requesting or receiving a password is not permission to redistribute the content. All confidential material must be treated as such, including in screenshots, presentations, and any AI system into which it is pasted.

    No professional advice

    The writing and frameworks on this site describe my professional opinions and experience. They are not legal, financial, hiring, or fiduciary advice, and reading them does not create an advisor, consulting, or employment relationship. Advisory relationships begin only when a signed statement of work, letter of engagement, or advisory agreement is in place.

    Third-party links and services

    The site links to third-party platforms such as LinkedIn, Calendly, and ADPList. I do not control those services and am not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. External links open in a new tab and use secure attributes to protect against tab-nabbing.

    Disclaimers

    The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

    Limitation of liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashwarya Subhluxmi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or its content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Direct damages, if any, are capped at one hundred US dollars (USD 100) for site-only claims. Engagement-specific liability is governed by the applicable agreement.

    Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to the site or these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law grants you a non-waivable right to a different forum.

    Changes

    I may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.
