    Accessibility Statement

    Accessibility is part of design craft, not an afterthought. This site is built and iterated with the goal of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and improved when gaps are found.

    Current status

    The site is designed against WCAG 2.1 AA as a working baseline. It uses semantic HTML, keyboard-navigable interactive elements, visible focus states, sufficient color contrast in both display and body text, descriptive link text, alt text for meaningful images, and reduced-motion respect for users who set that preference at the operating system level.

    Ongoing work

    • Manual keyboard and screen reader passes on core pages (home, writing, case studies, contact) with each significant release.
    • Progressive improvements to embedded artifacts and case study frames, which sometimes originate as static HTML exports.
    • Design tokens tuned for AA contrast against both the light editorial and dark ink surfaces used across the site.

    Known limitations

    • A small number of case studies are password-protected static HTML exports. Their accessibility depends on the original artifact and is being brought up to parity over time.
    • Some experimental pages (carousels, slide decks, interactive artifacts) prioritize visual demonstration and may not yet meet the same accessibility bar as core pages.

    Assistive technology

    The site is tested against current versions of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on desktop and iOS/Android on mobile, with VoiceOver and TalkBack as the primary screen readers.
