Open official siteWhat it does
DaVinci Resolve combines video editing, color correction, visual effects, and audio post-production. It offers a timeline-based workflow for assembling a more deliberate product film or tutorial.
When to use it
You need closer control over cuts, sound, and color than a quick screen recording provides.
What you need: DaVinci Resolve, a compatible computer, and a few short video or screen-recording clips.
Try a small build
A suggested exercise to help you evaluate the resource.
- Import three clips and arrange them to show a problem, an interaction, and its result.
- Trim dead time, balance the voice audio, and add a short title that supplies context.
- Export a review file and watch it from start to finish. Check text readability at the size people will actually view it.
You should end up with: A short, coherent product video with intentional pacing and understandable audio.
