Open official siteWhat it does
Bolt turns a written brief into a working website or app you can refine in the browser. Use a small, specific brief so you can judge the behavior as well as the first screen.
When to use it
You want to explore a product idea with a working prototype before committing to a larger build.
What you need: A Bolt account and a short brief describing one user and one task.
Try a small build
A suggested exercise to help you evaluate the resource.
- Describe a reading-list app with a title field, an add button, and an empty state. Ask for local sample data first.
- Try adding a title, submitting an empty field, and using the page on a narrow screen. Request one focused correction at a time.
- Review the generated project and its publishing options. Share a preview only after the core task works.
You should end up with: A small prototype with a usable add flow and an intentional empty state.
Keep in mind
Generated code still needs review. Keep the first experiment small and check current usage limits before a long iteration session.
